The SAC-D/Aquarius satellite, launched in 2011, is notable for its role in ocean and climate monitoring, equipped with advanced instruments developed in collaboration with international partners like NASA.CONAE operates from several facilities, including the Teofilo Tabanera Space Center in Córdoba, which houses mission control operations and satellite integration facilities, and the Mario Gulich Institute for Advanced Space Studies in Córdoba. It actively collaborates with international space agencies like NASA and ESA to enhance its capabilities and share knowledge. The agency also hosts one of UN-SPIDER's Regional Support Offices to foster regional cooperation in space activities.
