Roscosmos General Director Dmitry Bakanov visited the Vostochny cosmodrome to inspect launch complexes for medium-class Soyuz-2 and heavy hangar A-5 launch vehicles. Bakanov also visited the construction of residential buildings for cosmodrome employees in Zvezdny, Tsiolkovsky. Roscosmos is preparing a Progress MS-30 cargo ship for takeoff at the 254th site of the Baikonur cosmodrome. The Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle is scheduled for February 28 from the Vostok launch complex, delivering 2.5 tons of cargo to the International Space Station. RKK Energia and Skoltech are modernizing a 3D printer for additive production on the ISS and developing a new 5-coordinate printer for printing composite products. The Voronezh Design Bureau of Chemical Engineering has released an experimental sample of Shiberniy nozzles for fountain fittings and installations for overseas oil and gas mining on the Caspian Sea shelf.
