Roscosmos Weekly (18 April. 2025): Meeting in MSTU Name of Bauman: The President held a meeting on the development of space activity; Implementation of space initiatives: development of nuclear power plants for space; "Union MS-26": A manned ship is being prepared for the ISS for descent. - Summary by Frederic Eger: The Russian President held a meeting on the development of space activity, attended by General Director Dmitry Bakanov of Roscosmos State Corporation. The head of state announced that a national project in space activity would be approved in the near future. The project focuses on fundamental space studies and nuclear space energy projects to create electric jet engines and autonomous systems for spacecraft. The Russian crew of the Soyuz MS-26 ship completed a 220-day expedition to the International Space Station (ISS), meeting five manned and several cargo ships. The cosmonauts conducted over 40 scientific experiments in medicine, material science, and other disciplines, including detailed Earth photography.
