Alexander Petrov
Alexander Petrov, born on January 25, 1989, in Pereslavl-Zalesskiy, Russia, is a renowned actor and director. He began his acting career at the University of Pereslavl Faculty of Economics and later moved to Moscow to study at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS). Petrov began acting in films from the age of two, with his first role being in the TV show "Voices" directed by Nana Jorjadze in 1997. His first leading role was in the TV series Poka tsvetet paporotnik in 2012. After graduating from GITIS, Petrov was accepted to the Moscow Theater "Et Cetera" under Alexander Kalyagin's direction. He played Graziano in Shylock and rehearsed Hamlet directed by Valeriy Sarkisov, which premiered in December 2013. In 2014, he was offered a role as Lopakhin in Chekhov's "Cherry Orchard."
