Donald Trump
Donald Trump, born on June 14, 1946, is an American politician, media personality, and businessman. He served as the 45th and 47th president of the United States, serving his first term from 2017 to 2021 and beginning his second non-consecutive term in 2025. Trump was educated at the New York Military Academy and graduated from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968. He took over his father's real estate business in 1971 and expanded it into skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump gained fame as a media personality, hosting the reality TV show The Apprentice from 2004 to 2015 and authored several books. He entered politics as a Republican and won the 2016 presidential election against Hillary Clinton, with his campaign slogan being "Make America Great Again." His presidency was marked by controversial policies such as travel bans on Muslim-majority countries, expansion of the border wall with Mexico, rolling back environmental regulations, tax cuts, and appointing three Supreme Court justices. Trump disputed the 2020 election and attempted to overturn it, leading to the January 6 Capitol attack. He was impeached twice but acquitted both times. In 2024, Trump became the first former U.S. president convicted of a felony related to falsifying business records. He was elected again in 2024 and inaugurated in 2025 at age 78. Trump is married to Melania Trump since 2005 and has one son, Barron. He has four other adult children from previous marriages.
