Bakanov announced the launch of the Soyuz-5 carrier rocket in December, the creation of the returnable Amur rocket, and the development of the RosSvet, Yamal, and Express-RV groups. The final stages of the Progress MS-31 cargo ship's preparation for launch are taking place at Baikonur. The ship was successfully refueled with fuel and compressed gases on June 22, and the Progress was docked with the Soyuz-2.1a transfer compartment of the Soyuz carrier rocket. The launch of the rocket with the ship, which will deliver the cargo to the ISS, is scheduled for July 3. In the Center for the Preparation of Astronauts, exercises were held to evacuate on board the helicopter, including climbing on board from the ground and water. Testers Arutyun Kiveryan, Aleksandr Kalyabin, Sergey Tizryatnikov, and candidates for the detachment participated in the training.
