Roscosmos has launched a carrier rocket with a new cargo ship, the Progress MS-29, from Baikonur, marking the completion of its mission. The rocket will carry 2,625 kg of cargo, including fuel, water, products, medical equipment, and scientific experiments. The Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Progress MS-31 cargo ship will be launched on July 3, with docking with the International Space Station scheduled for July 6. The rocket was decorated in honor of the Apollo-Soyuz flight's 50th anniversary. The Progress MS-29 was docked from the Russian-segment ISS search module on July 1, but it successfully left orbit, collapsed in the atmosphere, and sunk in the southern Pacific Ocean. In Q3 2025, 18 small-satellite-format cruisers will be launched from Vostochny Roscosmos, including 17 Russian devices and one foreign satellite.
